As technology explodes and older machinery is phased out, the amount of unwanted pieces of equipment will grow. Along with our full service one stop approach, for PC building, repair and maintenance, Network services, Printing, Graphic Designing, Web Design and Hosting, we do process unwanted and expired units from our clients. We take all steps to destroy all sensitive data, render it unrecoverable, break down all the units and channel them to the proper recycler, or donate eligible units to those with need or not able to afford a computer on their own. We are able to accept units from non-clients, but due to the cost factor involved, and the size of our facilities, we can only accept certain types and amounts of items. If we are unable to assist you, we will guide you in the right direction to get your issue resolved. Yes there is a cost involved to recycle and process the material. The costs are manpower and time involved to delete your data, and to break down equipment. Shipping off the plastic to the proper center costs money. Monitors which are highly toxic, actually cost between 6 to 15 dollars PER UNIT, depending on size to properly send it off to its safe disposal. This is a small amount to pay as opposed to it filtering into the water table or the soil and making you sick or possibly die from the effects.
